ch 2 brain biology
one thing I learned form doing the experiments is that your eyes can play tricks on you. some of those optical illusions were very interesting. i learned that my eyes fave a blind spot right in front of my face. this affects me because during driving it could cause me to not see an on coming vehicle. several things I learned from the chapter involved the brain. one was that the brain is separated into to main areas the part that control automatic functions, heart beat and breathing, and the areas in charge of conscious decisions such as walking.

chapter one critical thinking
research is the way that psychologists test the ideas, with out research there wouldn't be a way to prove any new advancement in peoples thinking.
just today our school made us fill out a survey on what our schools awareness of drugs and alcohol was. this is a form of research.
some things I learned were the different ways that research is done. another is that research can be as simple as asking a question. A third is that being critical about something is the heart of being a scientist.

prologue
I believed that psychology was the study of the mind and its disorders, but it is much more complex. It includes the reasoning behind our decisions, how we think, and how we develop or habits.
Psychology affect our life's every day. Its in the way we decide what cereal we eat or what song we listen to. every thing we do has its roots in psychology.
Two things I learned from this chapter were that psychology has has many different ways of being look at such as the seven views we worked on and that psychology has come a long way since its starts many years ago

Intro to AJ
hi, I'm Anthony J. Schreier. I'm a 17 year senior at Edgar High School.
when I was younger my little sister was the worst child ever. she would blame me for all her mistakes and put a hole in my door. this has lead me to not wanting children when I get married.
